Judith is knowledgeable, compassionate, and kind. The resources she connected myself and my family to are genuinely life-changing. On a personal level, Judith helped me feel not so alone during an incredibly difficult and stressful time. Judith and I connected a little over a year ago while I was looking for a caregiver for my Mom. Judith shared an agency and resources, but the timing wasn’t right to move forward with care options. This past year, Judith occasionally checked in with me to see how my Mom was doing. Recently, my Mom’s health declined, and my family needed to quickly be connected with caregivers and a few other resources to finance care. Judith listened to our family’s needs, and connected us to resources that are knowledgeable, patient, and supportive. I'm immensely grateful for the thoughtfulness and insightfulness that Brent showed my family as we went through the very emotional process of finding an assisted living facility for a family member.  It is a very overwhelming process at this time based on outdated knowledge of these type of facilities and the basic need to ensure safety and care of your loved one. Brent provided this support as we viewed multiple sights and he provided perspective in terms of care, activities, costs, and proximity to family.  Not only did he see us through this process, but cared enough to check up on us to see how the transition was going on this huge life changing decision. As an only child living in the next state over from my parents, I was not in the ideal position to help them make a move -- and my spouse and I had already spent a year and a half, to no avail, trying to help them see how much they needed to ensure their own well-being. Now, they've been in their new home for over a month, and I am deeply grateful to Judith for all of her tireless efforts. Judith visited them to explain assisted living and to answer their questions, accompanied them on their tour, and -- most critically -- gave them the encouragement and nudges that finally got them to say yes. Brent recommended the perfect place for my Mom - twice! He took into account geographic, demographic, and price point preferences and showed us the way to first IVY Golden Gate, where my Mom stayed for almost two years, and then to Mission Villa in Daly City where she is now. He took time to get to know mine and my Mom’s personal situation and listened as much as he spoke. In the end, the places he recommended wound up being perfect fits and my Mom was very happy upon move in, initially to IVY Golden Gate, even though we had to choose it without her seeing the place. Working with Brent made my life incredibly easier since he knows so much about so many of the different facilities in the area. I also felt very comfortable trusting his judgment that my Mom would be extremely well taken care of in both facilities, as he had placed many other clients in both. Judith was invaluable when I needed to find my mother an assisted living place to relocate to in San Francisco! She was understanding and flexible when the parameters for our search changed. Brent did an excellent job in helping us navigate the waters of assisted living and memory care.  He was patient and empathetic while we coped with the rapid decline of our father. The process took a while due to the emotional elements behind a decision such as this. Nevertheless, Brent remained steady and supportive. When we were finally ready to move things forward he was instrumental in getting us over the finish line. Brent is very well informed on the options available in the greater Bay Area and also well connected with facility directors. I honestly can’t imagine trying to navigate a solution such as this solo. A friend of mine recommended Brent to help me find a memory care facility for my parents, and at first, I wasn't sure that I needed a consultant's help. But then I did phone Brent, and I'm so glad I did. He responded right away, and responded quickly to questions that I had throughout the process, even after hours. Brent was extremely helpful in navigating the search, and asked questions (including difficult ones) of the facility managers during our tours that I would not have thought to ask. Looking for care facilities for loved ones is a complicated and emotionally wrenching process. Having Brett there to assist me and talk things over and to communicate with the facility managers made it so much more manageable than it would have been if I were doing it by myself.
